What if your work day didn’t feel like… work?ooooh

G’day Legends

Quick question.

What are you actually doing with your work day right now? I am writing this for context.

Be honest. Ideally you are reading this little ramble.

Laptop in your lap. Same chair. Same room. Same “I’ll just quickly check Instagram” spiral that somehow lasts 40 minutes? Personally I like to watch rust being removed by vinegar on old stuff and restored (boring but intriguing). It does lead to way to much vinegar for one person in one life.

There is another way to do this (and it’s not Bali, relax)

We’ve built a coworking space inside the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena in Ratho.

Which means your day can look like:

• A couple of solid hours of actual focused work
• Wander downstairs for a climb
• Coffee (free, obviously)
• Maybe even a cheeky surf next door at Lost Shore Surf Resort

Then back to your laptop wondering where the heck did this buzz and focus come from? Exercise and the outdoors.

“Yeah but I need to actually work”

Correct.

So:

• Fast WiFi (like actually fast)
• Comfortable desks (no weird posture nonsense)
• Free parking (no circling like a vulture)

And then the extras:

• Climbing
• Gym
• Canal walks
• Trees (real ones, not LinkedIn ones 🌳)

It’s basically work… but less grim.

Also — and people don’t clock this

We’re weirdly central.

Like:

• Livingston — easy
• Edinburgh — easy
• Falkirk / Stirling — easy
• Glasgow — not bad at all

So instead of dragging yourself into the city…

You can meet halfway, work properly, and still have a life.

Mad concept.

The vibe (important)

It’s small right now.

Which means:

People actually talk
No corporate nonsense
You won’t get judged for making a second coffee
I can tell you a moderatley boring anecdote to encourage you back to your final task of the day.

Also there’s a strong chance I’ll try and give you a plant I’ve propagated.

No promises. No warnings either.

So… what’s the catch?

There isn’t one.

You don’t need to sign your life away.

Just come in for a day and see if it works for you.

We run trial days during the week (Tue–Fri), so there’s usually a few people in — not just you sitting there wondering what you’ve done.

👉 If you’re curious, book a free trial day and I’ll get you set up 👍

Or don’t.

Stay at home in your pyjamas.

Your call.
