Access & Opening Hours

Standard Opening Hours
Monday–Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm

Extended Member Access
For Members and Fixed Desk Coworkers, you can access the space earlier and stay later:
08:30 – 21:00 (Mon–Fri)

Entering the Workspace

  • On your first visit, check in at EICA reception so they know you're with The Lighthouse.

  • After that, you can head straight upstairs to the mezzanine.

  • Please don’t let non-members tailgate into the workspace

Parking (Important!)

Parking at the EICA is free, but you must register your vehicle on every visit to avoid a parking charge.

How to Register Your Car

  1. Go to EICA Reception

  2. Look for the tablet on the desk (reception team will help should you need)

  3. Enter your vehicle registration number

  4. You're covered for the day

Wifi

WiFi Name: The Lighthouse
Password: Available on the desk cards and signage in the workspace.

What’s Included:

  • Fast, reliable WiFi

  • Power at every desk (USB-C + standard sockets at most stations)

Tech Etiquette:

  • Please use headphones for audio.

  • Please be considerate of you fellow co-workers

  • If WiFi drops, toggle WiFi on/off — it reconnects quickly.

  • Free tea and coffee available all day.

  • Hot water tap & fridge

  • Please tidy as you go and leave the area clean for the next person

We’re lucky to be based inside one of Europe’s most iconic climbing centres.
Pop down stairs to the EICA reception and the lovely staff will look after you.

How to brew:

  1. Open the filter basket

  2. Place one paper filter inside

  3. Add Coffee:

    • Use 1 heaped dessert spoon per cup you want to make

    • (Example: 4 cups = 4 heaped spoons)

  4. Fill the water reservoir to about ¾ full
    (This gives a good strong brew without overflowing)

  5. Close the lid

  6. Press the Start button

  7. In about 5 minutes, your coffee is ready — enjoy!
